Physics SAT II

I got my scores back from the Dec. administration of the subject tests and my physics score was very low. For Stanford, they say you need Math II and Chem which I have fairly good scores on (720,750 respectively). Now my question is, will Stanford consider the 620 I received on my physics sat II, as it was taken on a whim for Princeton. Is that going to negatively affect me...all of my other scores are my highest are (750,740,720) and then there's that lingering 620...

thanks

No, they will only consider the top 2 SAT II's for admissions purposes though they might still look at your other scores. I'm in a similar situation since I got a 620 on World History while my other four SAT II scores are 700 or higher, but I don't foresee it being a problem. Good luck!!!

No, they won't look at the low one. I did pretty well on my math II and physics, but terribly on the spanish (580) and I still got in. I think as long as you have two good scores you're fine.

thats good to know. i had a 590 on my physics SAT 2 :P

sweet!!! so as long as I've got two solid math and science scores i'm set!! sweet deal!!

hey is a 790M 730CR too low of an SAT score for Stanford, I've got this kid on the Penn board telling me that my SAT scores are too low for Penn, so i'm kinda scared about stanford...

Haha, you guys aren't even close to my "lingering score" I got a 800 Math II, 750 Chem, and a whopping 560 in US History. That was after my sophomore year. Will probably screw over my HYP apps.

Where do you guys get the info that they only see the top two SATs, etc?

I haven't been able to find this info, but it would really help. thanks

I don't think it explicitly states that they only look at the top two SAT IIs, but since they only ask for two SAT IIs, one would assume that sending extra would not hurt your chances too much.
