Physics Self-Study?

How easy/hard is the physics sat2? I have never taken a physics course in high school but am very interested in the subject. Would it be possible for me to self-study for the Jan 22 Sat2?(hoping to get 750+?)

bump.................

I am wondering the same thing but for june. I have an AE chem class but the chem SATII looks a bit bewildering.

The physics sat 2 is pretty simple physics, but it is on an array of subjects. If you dedicated the time you could probably pull of an 800. I would advise using the PR book and the real sat 2, they are the only reliable ones imo. If you have any particular questions when you start studying, you can email me stevezilla1088@gmail.com I got an 800 btw.

ok thanx a ton!!

I took a year of physics getting a B and A, but I still ended up with a 620... it's rather hard unless you actually are dedicated to learn the all material (which i wasn't).

I am in AP Physics C and I got a 730. Mechanics are easy, just make sure you practice and avoid careless errors.

Make sure you study a lot of magnetism and electricity.

Right. The test is on concepts over a variety of topics. None of it goes in depth but the coverage is pretty wide. The ideal course for preparation should be AP Physics B, but the Princeton Review book should do. Don't use the Barron's. Barron's has no clue what the test is about.
