Physics Self-study

Anyone know if it's easier to take Physics C and self study the additional Physics B topics, or take Physics B and self-study the more in depth Physics C topics? I assume nobody's ever done both, but I'm interested in taking all three tests with only one class open.

They scheduled the Physics B exam at the same time as the Physics C Mechanics this year, and I’m assuming they do that every year. So unless you’re able to clone yourself, you can only take two.

To answer your question anyway if you maybe plan on taking them different years, I would think it’d be far easier to take Physics C and self-study the B. I’ve not taken a B class, but from what I can tell it’s a lot easier, albeit more varied material. I wouldn’t want to learn the complicated calculus-intensive problems in Physics C on my own.

I’d take the C class and take the C tests. They’re worth more credits in colleges, and it’ll be plenty of work unless you’re Einstein or a masochist.
