Physics to Architecture?

How beneficial do you think it is for a physics major to go for an M.Arch (as opposed to a civil engineering program)? I'm also a music major with an okay arts background. Do any professional architects or current grad school students have any advice? I've been looking into the curricula at HYPM, WashU, Syracuse, etc. I'm really into structures but I fear civil engineering programs won't provide enough design opportunities. On the other hand, I'm also anxious that architecture programs just have way too much design. I know, though, that at Princeton, I could take a bunch of structural analysis/design classes in the CEE department to fulfill elective requirements... I love roads, transport and planning, as well and I've found out several programs do encourage dual degrees in architecture and planning, but I'm not sure if civil engineering will satisfy all these interests. Maybe this post should even be in the engineering thread, but I'd love to hear your suggestions. Thanks.
