What would be the more financially beneficial major? I'm more of a thinker so I was leaning towards Physics or Aerospace Engineering. Astronomy and particle physics seem to interest me the most and although I'm not bad at math, I do find it more difficult than all my other subjects (getting mainly B's in honor and ap math courses but then again my teacher is extremely difficult).
Would it be smart to double major in maybe Mechanical Engineering and Physics? Or maybe a major of either and a minor in something more applied to have better chances at jobs? And what California colleges would be the best for this? I'm tight on money so I can't go into major universities. I was looking into Cal Poly, Santa Barbara, Davis or Irvine?
Any advice especially from people majoring in either Physics or Engineering would be extremely helpful.
