physics wksp tutor

Hey, so there's this guy who advertised himself in my physics 6a class saying he has workshops to help our grades. they are twice a week for 1.5 hours.

it's EXCEL/PDP Workshops and FREE.

i went today and left early; it seems like i'm not really using time efficiently by going there. maybe it's just me and the tutor, some older man-forgot his name. how is he to you if you've experienced him? effective? inefficient? please let me know before i really waste my time if there's a better way to seek help.

btw, i heard he doesn't answer hw questions. and the class also has 1A students in there.

i also heard that he has a bias (i believe a negative one) towards LS students... hmm.

he is biased towards LS students. he focuses his problems more for 1A students, as he's a 1A professor. he's very nice, but his problems are hard for 6A people.

try AAP or Covel tutoring.

do i hafta be part of AAP to get their tutoring? i am not. as far as covel, the ppl haven't contacted me back about physics, and that is weird b/c i was one of the 1st ones on monday (1st day of sign up) to register. however, i put physics as my 3rd choice.

just go and sit in for the covel tutoring. the tutors don't mind...(from my experience)

that is Corbin you are talking about, he is really awesome professor if you ever went to his lectures... he is known for giving out really hard tests and problems but his class prepares you really well for the rest of the courses in physics... i think he is one of the only professors on bruinwalk.com that have ratings of 9s across the board... yes 9 for difficulty yet 9 for effectiveness and 9 for recommended professor!
