How hard is Physics at BU and how hard is it to get into?

yes, you just need to complete the premed track and take the mcats and all of the other good stuff that premeds do.

physics at BU is no harder to get into than any other major in CAS. I’m not entirely sure how hard it is… which isn’t good considering i applied here about 3 weeks ago with my first choice major being physics lol. but its a science and BU is a good school, so it will take a lot of work; however, physics is a major that will most definitely pay off in the end

Do a lot of people apply as a physics major for BU?

I don’t know if a lot of people are but I know I got accepted ED and im majoring in physics.

Does anyone know how much research UGs can do within the physics department? I assume getting into honors would help - any info on what it takes to get into that program? My S is looking at a double neurosci/physics major and BU is one of his top choices but could use more info.

the short answer is basically “as much as he wants”

for the longer answer, call the department
