I am currently a junior in high school, Class of 2013.

Schedule:
AP Language and Composition
APUSH
Pre-Calculus Honors
AP Music Theory
Speech and Debate
Physics Honors

I am awful at math, Pre-Calc is fairly easy right now though, but Physics is killing me. School barely started two weeks ago, but I don't understand any of the math that is going on in the book or in the class. I have an A in the class right now, but I feel like I am going to fail this class...
Pre-Calc is already taking a lot of my time because of my troubles with math, and AP Music Theory is too since I have no experience with instruments are reading sheet music at all.

So my question is, are there any websites, or the like, that can help a person in Physics who has math as their weak point?

Why would you take AP Music Theory if you have no experience with music?

You should probably talk to your teacher if you’re having problems before you go searching around on the internet.

Just because I have no experience with music doesn’t mean I will do good in the class. You don’t have to have music experience to take that class, it just will be a little more difficult, since I have never played an instrument. But that is not of concern.

I did understand it at school, but once I got home and started the problems in the book, my understanding of the problems disappeared, I have a test tomorrow, and the homework is due tomorrow.
That is why I need the help at this moment.

I was just asking why you chose it, I never said you’ll do bad or anything. It will be very difficult, music theory is hard, but fun once you learn it.

I don’t have anything that could help you. Ask friends in that class if they’re still up? Sorry.

try [Khan Academy](http://www.khanacademy.org/)

I’ve heard nothing but good things about that website. Hope you find what you’re looking for

@bandgeek1: I apologize, when I tell people that I have no experience with music and I am taking Music Theory, they always tell me to give up. I chose the class because I thought it would be fun and better than AP Art History.
Thanks anyway.

@chrome16: I will try it out, thanks.

Sorry, I know that this doesn’t really answer your question, butt…
I would strongly rethink AP Music Theory. At least at my school, most people either have to take and pass Theory I first, or take a test and place out of Theory I and into AP. I don’t know of anyone who has taken AP with no experience in music. You need to first learn the basics, because in AP Theory, you’re expected to know how to read music, know key signatures, and other music basics. Many people I know who had had many years of music experience before taking AP Theory struggled with the material. Maybe try a lower level of music theory if you school offers it.

That sounded harsh, I’m sorry, I’m just trying to be realistic.
