Hi,
My school no longer offers physics, but my gc says the school profile will still show it since it was offered last year (this is also a problem since they used to have earth science and apes).
Freshman year I took bio, sophomore year I took chemistry, and now I am taking ap chemistry and forensics. If the school doesn’t bring back physics, will it negatively impact me? No one else applying from my school would have taken it (only current seniors took it). The only remaining science left is es (non ap). My other question is, if physics isn’t brought back, should I take es senior year? I want to major in science, but es is a joke in my school, and I would major in bio anywyay. I’d probably be able to take pre calc and ap stat at the same time instead of es, and I’m taking 2 science courses this year, so it’s basically 4 years. Thanks, I was rushed so sorry for any mistakes.
No. You can’t take what is not offered.
The simple solution is for school to write in “Last offered 2014-2015.” Additionally, the GC should mention it in his report.
Take it if you want, don’t take it if you don’t want. It’s not a deal breaker either way.
You can put a note in Additional Info about Physics not offered any longer at your school.
