<p>How important is it that I take physics140 before this class? I took the physics B AP exam in high school and have credit for physics 125, so if I do take physics 140, I won't get credit for it. It has been about 2 years since I last took a physics class and although I feel I understood it well at the time, I'm not sure how important it is that I remember everything very well before taking 240. I hear 240 is a very difficult class and I don't want to put myself at a disadvantage before taking it. Thanks in advance for your advice.</p>
<p>I didn’t think 140 was necessary for 240. I would go ahead and take 240 but take extra steps to learn the material better (i.e. go to office hours, join a study group, etc)</p>
