Piano Audition Selection???

Hey everyone,

I am actually not auditioning to be a piano performance major, but I still might send a clip of me playing as an optional 'supplemental talent tape". I've never taken lessons, nor do I have any friends that play so i really don't know the appropriate level of repertoire. Can any piano players here give me some example pieces that would be at an adequate level to send a college (thats not strictly for a piano performance major, but just to show my musical abilities, etc). I'm a junior level transfer student by the way. Thanks so much

Some examples of college entrance level repertoire (so as a junior transfer, they might expect more):
Bach: any of the 48 preludes and fugues; the 15 sinfonias are a step down, but possibly okay although most people who have never had lessons butcher Bach
Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven: almost any sonata (but avoid the easier ones like Mozart K545 and Beethoven op 49 and 79
Chopin: most of the Waltzes and Nocturnes, but Polonaises or Etudes etc. would be better
