Piano Supplement Repertoire

I'm thinking about sending in a piano supplement. I have two questions, both of which are really only suited for people who know about the piano, i guess.

1) If you sent in a piano supplement, what repertoire did you play/did you get in?

2) I'm playing a Bach P&F and either the rach etude 33/8 in g minor or the chopin 'tristesse' etude op.10 no.3. Based on what you know about the people who send stuff in, do you think those repertoire choices are too easy/not difficult enough? I've won state awards and stuff, but idk how i'd compare nationally, if at all. I'm just worried if I send in stuff that's not difficult enough it might harm my overall app.

If you have any other comments or suggestions, let me know. Thanks!

I don’t know much about piano, I’m just starting, but I do play cello. So i can say that with composers as great as Chopin and Rachmaninov, any of their pieces will be difficult to play well. Expression and interpretation are extremely important for the “easier” pieces.
It probably isn’t best to play a Chopin, Brahms, Shostakovich, pick a difficult piano concerto, if you aren’t going to play it as well as either of the etudes you mentioned. Play something you know you can play as best as you can play, something that showcases your talent, and most importantly, something you enjoy playing.
