The USC Thornton School of Music and the Los Angeles Philharmonic with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra will host the Piatigorsky International Cello Festival to be held May 13 to May 22, 2016. Artistic Director will be the noted cellist, Ralph Kirshbaum. Venues include the Walt Disney Concert Hall and historic Bovard Auditorium on the SC campus.
Highlights will be a concert featuring over 100 cellists and a gala concert featuring Beethoven’s works for the cello. Internationally known musical artists will be performing.
