Picking a Major: Health Administration or Information Technology??

Hello, everyone! I'm a college sophomore who is unsure of her major (like many others out there). Originally, I went into university as an Accounting major. After two semesters of this, I decided I hated accounting, even though I wasn't bad at it (I almost got an A in the course). Anyway, I then considered med school for the LONGEST time, until I realized my hatred of science was a bit too strong. However, I still wanted to do something with health. I changed to Health Administration with a concentration in Health Systems Management, coupled with a minor in Information Technology. Shortly after taking another IT course over the past summer, I switched my concentration to Health Informatics.

But slowly I am starting to enjoy IT a WHOLE lot, even if I'm only taking classes for my minor. My ideal job would be some sort of IT position in a healthcare setting. So I was thinking of dropping the IT minor, and changing it to a major (Applied Information Technology major with a concentration in Healthcare IT).

I'm not entirely sure, but I keep coming back to the idea of IT, so that must mean something... should I stick with my Health Administration major, or should I change majors? I just need some more opinions!!

Some things to note:
I would graduate on time either way.
I have thought about going to grad school. No med/pharmacy/law school though.
I am currently a pharmacy technician, so I have a *little experience in healthcare, but at the same time, I am quite passionate about IT/computers (NOT programming, so please don't suggest Comp Sci.)

Thanks!

It’s really up to you! What I can tell you is that when the career fair came to my university and handed out the sheet with all of the majors the different companies preferred for each position, computer information technology was listed in about 70%.
