Okay, so I'm going to be a freshman this year and I've been reading the College Life board a lot, and a lot of people say things like "don't slack off freshman year, do classes that will benefit your major and be practical!" or "Map out all four years now so you can get everything done!" But I sincerely have no idea what I want my major to be or what I might want to do. What's the best way for me to pick classes that will be beneficial? Right now, I'm doing Advanced Spanish I, Intensive Elementary Arabic, Single-Variable Calculus I, and Chemistry (my parents want me to do pre-med). Is this enough classes? Will these classes be useful? How long did it take you to figure out what sort of major you were going to pursue?

*intend to take the aforementioned classes. sorry, I couldn’t find the edit button.
