<p>There should only be minor differences between 09-10 and 10-11… So if using that catalogue is my only option, I would go ahead with it.</p>
<p>Minimum for a full-time is 12 units, which is 3 four-unit classes. Freshmen typically take only 12 units for first fall quarter, but remember; you will want to average 45 units/year if you want to graduate on time, but thats without any AP/incoming credit. </p>
<p>I advise you to just take 16 or 20 units in the beginning, and drop if its too hard, just as your parents advised for you to do.</p>
<p>For classes, I don’t know too much about engineering majors, but there is someone on this forum who will answer your questions about that.</p>
