Is the picking of our classes for our schedule a hard process? I heard it was pretty tedious and many became confused. Will the instructors provide all the information needed in which classes would be best to take for your major? And if you need help do they help answer your questions well? Any other information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

My academic adviser was awesome! Her name is Shelly and she was really helpful and easy going. If you have a question, I’m sure your adviser will be more than happy to answer it. Yes picking classes was incredibly frustrating, only because of the order in which you pick classes. Most people ended up taking 2 random classes and only 1 that they actually wanted. And the adviser will pull you out and talk to you one on one to recommend what classes you should take. Try to move fast when picking classes, my group all tried to really go fast so that everyone could be able to pick their classes faster. Our group finished in about 1½ hours, but then there’s a line you have to wait in to get your schedule confirmed and when you get inside, you can continue to ask questions if you are really aren’t pleased with your classes. Also, they said that you can “crash” courses during the Fall and talk to the professors to see if they will allow you to add that class.

registering for the classes isnt as hard but actually picking the ones you want is the part that blows your brains out. Its during the second academic session. You have find the classes and look in three different books and it takes 3 hours to choose about 8 classes. Registering was good for me because my group went fast and i got the last number so i got to register for all my classes at once and i think i finished first out of everybody at my orientation because there was no line for me to get my schedule confirmed. I got my top three classes so it was good for me.

^^

Omg how lucky! I was #8. I got 2 classes that I like and 1 not so much. And yeah I agree, choosing your alternative classes was difficult because of all the time overlap and whatnot. Really stressful, got my first white hair. Lol.
