Hahvad's engineering program may be good...but it's no where near Cornell's.... i mean Cornell's enineering is its forte.

The experience factor you highlight is true...but when you you have tp choose between Cornell and Hahvad engineering...its not much of a q.
Hahvad's great for humanities/law/medicine...but not for engineering.

tchiem: Congratulations for a remarkable achievement. You have many great choices ahead of you. After spending a considerable time reading your web page (by the way, I love your writing style), and putting my Cornell loyalty aside, I would say that Yale is the best fit for you (minus your interest in nature walks!) You can't make a bad decision though. Best of luck.

I can't give you any comments because I've never thought I'd be accepted by any of these. But, after reading your web page, I wasn't surprised to see you got accepted by all the best universities of the world. You're amazing! Keep your hard works and intelligence wherever you end up going! =)

so u want him to go to p'ton just because he can't tranfer into the place later...

seriously u need to choose ur major and then see which schools are good for that major...narrow it down and then go by other factors like environment/social scene blah blah

but seriously if i were u, i wouldn't have asked which college is good...bec DUH! ur goin to get a biased view
choose ur major, and then ask how good the college is for THAT major.

btw is it just me or is this kid's not gettin back at any of the forum's in which he's posted the same hint at somethin...

OP has no particular great score, and wrote about his name. Perhaps it was one hell of an essay and a lucky stroke. For this he got into every dream schools in the US. Now he's asking for advice for which school to attend. Hmm, sounds a little bit like rubbing it in, like the most of us wouldn't kill to have one of his eight of 9 admissions. Incidently he didnt even mentioned Stanford, even though he posted a pior msg on Stanford board re: accepted.

This reinforces the notion that adcoms are liberal art types catering to the whimsicals.

Uh...Arjun Shankar, I think he's living in the U.S.? And might even be a U.S. citizen. (Read his personal site)

Yeah...he is really exceptional. If I had to be the president for all those clubs, I would have died. lol. After school and lunch time, I socialize so I don't really have time for a lot of clubs etc. Man, I really should start joining some of those damn clubs. :p

After I actually read his stats, I realized that it isn't really a shocker that he got in. Great Essays/Stats/Ec's= good position for most schools, and your acceptances proves it.

You have to choose Princeton or Yale. They jockey back and forth as number one for the "best undergraduate experience." According to some insider guides, Harvard has too many T.A's teaching undergraduate classes, and the social life is rather awkward. Also, Harvard has been trying to find out why so many of its graduates end up working for bosses who are Yale and Princeton alums. Personally, I'd go to Yale if it were me. The people there seemed more down-to-earth.
