<p>There seems to be a mistaken belief that you can only submit whatever score you want and the college will not see the other scores. While it is true that you can tell the College Board which score to send - the college will see all of them. The College Board sends all scores to your high school and almost all have them as part of your official transcript which is sent as part of your college application. So, the college WILL see them.</p>
<p>As former adcom, I preferred hearing why someone did poorly on a score rather than feel that they "hid" them from me. That made me wonder what else they were hiding and I always graded them lower (in fact, much lower) on my lists. I don't know about other adcoms, but do know my colleagues felt the same.</p>
<p>Advice: 1) Check with your high school and see what is on your transcripts. 2) Ask on your college interview what they think about "hiding" a poor score.</p>
