Picture on resume?

We are getting ready to submit my D’s resume on Common App-- we have a small picture of her in upper right hand corner (we submitted this way for an Awards show last year/they requested it like this)-- do you think that is inappropriate? Obviously, she will send a headshot when submitting prescreens… too much?
Also-- can anyone help with the organization of figuring out all of these dates/prescreen requirements? Spreadsheet? Other ideas?
This is insanity:)

That’s not at all uncommon. As long as you are also submitting a separate headshot (with her name on it… I can’t tell you how many nameless photos we got at the BFA program I used to work for!), it’s no big deal at all if her pic is on her resume.

A spreadsheet will definitely be your friend with scheduling and requirements. It’s also a great place to keep contact info for each program, notes on communications you’ve had, and basically everything.

As you guessed, this is in fact insanity. Have fun!

I appreciate this only if the photo is a different shot from the 8x10 headshot submitted. It gives you one more option for another “look”.

Thank you so much!

My son, who was applying for theater tech programs, put a small photo (similar to the one that shows up on ACT tickets) on his resume. Several of his interviewers, at different schools, told him that they appreciated being reminded of who he was out of the numerous candidates they met with.

This is very useful, especially because photos and resumes get detached sometimes. If you’re stapling a photo to your resume, I also recommend writing your name on the back of the photo, just in case.
