Prdmom,

You know there are free pictures on USAFA web site? Just click on Cadet Photos on the left

thanks 10smom, I will try again.

No 10smom. I tried again @ the USAFA web site. They are great pictures but no luck for me. I could not spot my girl.
I wll continue looking for her. My boy thinks I am crazy and says even If I find one I won't be satisfied.

Proudmom - Tell your son you are allowed to play Wheres Waldo any time! Remind him you made the rules in your house. When he has his own house and sends a kid off to the Academy, he can set his own limits. :D

Parents - Please realize the harsh reality that even though you think you know exactly what your child looks like, the probability of you correctly identifying him/her in BCT pictures is very low. ;)

Re identifying your child--here's our experience-(from last year) (girl, so the numbers are in our favor) We got some photos of marching with caps within the first few days on the website. You could only see the lower part of their face, nose on down and it's hard to compare heights since you don't know the other people. She was wearing her own glasses. On the website my husband thought it was her--but when we printed it off in B & W then it made the facial outlines more definite. However -once I said definitely it was her, then her dad was convinced also, and kept staring at it. The first time is the best. (funny how that works!) (and it was her) The other time was Field Day and she was the only girl playing with the big ball. You couldn't see much of her face, but we recognized her long piano playing fingers with the ball heading right towards them! ( also combined with one knee) She was wearing the clunky glasses. The last time was when she finished the run and it was a great one-- close up of her face, and you could read her name on her tshirt. No glasses! Mom- "what happened to your glasses?" (it was their running exam and she didn't want them. She was the first girl in, and the photo made the AF magazine last summer. And that's all we found--but we did recognize her believe it or not. The mom has the final say you know. ...

That's great... but that's definitely not the norm. ;)
