I don't have any representative pictures of any of the rooms look like, but I would like to tell you that Rice's dorms vary widely in style between and even within colleges, from Martel and Wiess's (built in the past 5 years) to Lovett's (built in the 60s with lots of exposed brick) to Sid's (kinda weirdly shaped boxes, but with great views) to Baker's 80 year old hall-style dorms.

Despite the varying quality, even the worst rooms at Rice are better than the best rooms at most other schools.

On my tour they showed me a room, which looked very nice in comparison to some others, saying that it was mid-quality as far as within the university. Some pictures of the ends of the spectrum would be nice, though.

Yeah I have no doubt the rooms are all very good, I'm just curious to see what they actually look like.

various photos from Martel college (no rooms, but nice shots of college)

This is a photo from my room at Lovett:

Lovett rooms are connected by a private bathroom. 4 people share the bathroom in a suite.

Awesome pics :)

Thanks, I was wondering the same thing! Great pictures.
