Here are some of my pictures of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.

Thank you....I graduate from OU in 1973 and haven't been back there since. I recognized the college green pics but everything else looks SO different!!

What a beautiful campus!

It's hard to find a more beautiful place than Athens in the fall. . . .tho Athens in snow is also quite lovely.

Very pretty!

I graduated 1982 - haven't been back in 20 plus years. It looks gorgeous - but I don't remember the sky being BLUE very often. Lots of gray and rain and slush and snow and gray and fog. But yes, a gorgeous area, and a lovely school!

Thanks for these - they are beautiful.

Beautiful campus -- you should be on their recruitment team. What else can you tell me about the school? Specifically, is it a place we should look at if D is interested in English, foreign languages, linguistics (I know they are offered; how good are they?) How flexible are they for non-traditional students? Do you know anything about music ops for non-majors?

English and Linguistics are a part of the College of Arts & Science @ OU if I remember correctly. The departments are stronger than the average program there and are definitely worth consideration. I'm not sure about non-tradiation students (if you mean over 24 y/o) but I know that the School of Fine Arts is great there offering dance, musical performance and theatre among others. It appears to me that the bulk of the music participants are NOT in the college of Fine Arts so there are a lot options for those around the other colleges.

I hope this helps.
