Anybody know where is a good place to get my ears pierced? Much appreciate any comments.

Claire's. There's usually one at every shopping mall. Or a tattoo/piercing parlor.

Um, is there a Claire's anywhere near Berkeley?

Industrial Tattoo on Dwight and Zebra on Telegraph. They both do piercings.

^^ are they clean though? I've visited couple parlors on Telegraph and Bancroft and they seem pretty spotty.

There's a Claire's at the Westfield Shopping Center. (Take the BART to Powell Station, and voila, you're in the mall.)

There are a few piercing/tattoo parlors on Telegraph and on University, so you might want to consider looking them up. The one I know on University is Sacred Rose.

okay...I MUST reply to this thread! I recently got my ears pierced... twice at Zebra's and once at Industrial Tattoo. From both experiences and from what I've heard from many of my floormates...DO NOT GO TO ZEBRA! Industrial Tattoo is much more professional and the quality of their service is amazing. I'm so happy with my piercings! haha (two lobe piercings and an industrial) You won't regret it...go to Industrial!

As for Claire's, yes it's true they do give free piercings if you buy their jewelry but...the problem is the gun. Guns can be sanitized but they can't be sterilized. Needles are definitely the safest and most professional way to go.

^^ what's wrong with zebra? i might just to claire's at SF.

Just curious, do guys get their ears pierced at Claire's? My sister tells me only girls go there, lol.

i knew a guy who went to claire's for his piercing. haha it's no big deal :)
