<p>I currently have my ears pierced, and I am thinking about getting my helix pierced. It is the top of the cartilage. What do you think of guys with this piercing? I am also thinking about gauging my ears..upto a 4g and no bigger.</p>

<p>You shouldn’t be asking us about it. If you really wanted the piercing, you wouldn’t care what other people thought. You’d do it for “you”, not “us”.</p>

<p>But he’s also great with the ladies, so take any “omg I h8 guyz with piercingsssss” comments on here with a grain of salt. Your options might be slightly limited to more scene/punk/other such subculture women, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.</p>

<p>I think guaging is probably one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen, and I would avoid looking at you and would definitely not be your friend-- I am sure you are probably a nice guy, but it’s just gross and I don’t want to look at it. And I don’t even know what a helix is.</p>

<p>Remember that with gauging you can never get a real job if you go too far because going into an interview and they see you have huge holes in your ears they will immediately pass unless its with your local Wal-Mart. </p>
<p>I have studs in both ears and both nipples pierced. Girls love them both and my nipples are extremely sensitive which makes foreplay a lot better.</p>
<p>I’m personally not a fan of piercings, especially prominent ones, but I know other girls who are. It varies.</p>
<p>Thats why if I gauge my ears, I won’t go any bigger than a 4g. They will close up to normal size or completely from that size if I keep the plugs and other things out of them, and they will be out by the time I am working. I am going in either tomorrow or next week depending on work to get my helix done!!</p>
<p>Well, even my husband, whose pushing 60, has his helix pierced, so that’s no big deal. Gauges are pretty disgusting, though.</p>
<p>he may be asking because he wants to know if he can get a job pierced… well i think piercings are reversable, unlike a tatoo. It depends on whart kind of life you want and who ull be hanging around.</p>

<p>I have never understood the attraction/want to gauge your ears -ever. It’s up there with tongue splitting as borderline crazy IMO.</p>
<p>The upper ear piercing though is fine i would say. And im pretty sure if you were to gauge your ear and have it in for a long period of time that it would be hell for it to close up on it’s own if ever.</p>

<p>I think the helix looks fine on most guys, not a fan of gauging though. I think generally most guy piercings are kinda gross, although I do think eyebrow piercings on some guys can be really hot.</p>

<p>Well went and got my helix pierced today, so far I love it! It hurt a lot more than my lobes but I am really happy with it. Got a nice 16g blue hoop!</p>

<p>Well, it’s nice to know that in spite of the mountains of evidence suggesting otherwise, this one single lobe pierced automatically makes me trash. Aren’t we non-judgemental tolerant people.</p>
