<p>i did poorly freshman year i have a few 70s and one 65 but soph and junior year i pulled it up taking many ap classes and getting near perfect scores in all my classes.</p>
<p>awards- psat semifinalist, essay contest winner 2,000 dollars, essay contest winner 2nd place essay about my hometown brooklyn, arista honor society (for kids with high averages), archon (kids who committed many hours to community service in the school), ap scholar, best written feature article in columbias journalism workshop</p>
<p>extra cir.- internship with public health service for one summer, i also volunteered for them since freshman year...i did a leadership program for them getting my school involved in raising money for cancer..recruiting members..our school raised 4000 dollars for cancer, i organized all types of fund raisers. i also go to a lodge where cancer patients say and make them dinner often during the chirstmas holiday times and other holiday times. (1000 total hours for this) -> hours i spent helping around the office only over 3 years. ialong with a senior during soph year i created my schools cancer team, i am now the president of this club</p>
