<p>i submitted my application through the mail and it arrived at Ithaca yesterday (october 31). when should i expect to recieve my PIN number, if i will get one at all?</p>

<p>seicheong when did u send yours out?...im sure they recieved my application though, because I went on Cornell's admissions site and there was a thing you could click to get your pin number re-sent to you, and i tried to click get it sent to me two days ago..but it said my e-mail adress wasn't in the admissions database, and i tried it again last night and it said "you will get an e-mail shortly..usually in a couple of minutes"...well its been a little more than a couple of mintures, considering this was last night, so idkkk</p>

<p>How the hell do you get the PIN? via email/mail/on the common app site?? I sent mine in on the 30th October and I still havnt received it.</p>

<p>OK. ppl guess what. I sent mine in Oct 21, and didnt get it to this day the generic way by email. HOWEVER, i didnt let that go. on Nov 1, 10 days after submission, i couldnt wait anymore and CALLED THE ADMISSIONS OFFICE. They asked me for my SSN and my name, address, and other verification things. They immediately told me my PIN should have been sent, and my email address was correct. They gave it to me anyway, and everything works now, but i still dont know why it was never emailed. I suggest calling them ONLY if you dont get it like 10 days or more after u send it. If you sent it Nov 1, dont expect it to be there until Nov 11 cus thats what the adm site says cus they r flooded with apps at the last minute.</p>

<p>can't blame them, really. I bet over half of ED applications are postmarked 31st Oct or 1st Nov.</p>
<p>i got mine 10 days later, and it took 3 days after they cashed the check to get the pin...so don't worry</p>
<p>sent mine the 28th, got there on the 31, no score yet....just throwing that up there.</p>
<p>my TOEFL still unreceived....SATs are in...wierd...i thought i sent them at the same time...</p>
<p>you guys are still lucky, columbia is alot slower than cornell in getting those pins out</p>

<p>not the only one....wait until nov 11....u dont want to be a pain. if they didnt receive materials, or something is missing, they would email you.</p>
