Hey CC!
I finished the pioneer program summer session and, after submitting a 30+ pg research proposal in my field of choice (not gonna specify here for privacy reasons), I was recently informed that my paper was selected for publication in the program’s yearly journal (only about 7% of all papers are selected). I was just wondering how impressive that would look on college apps and stuff? Obviously college is not the reason why I ultimately did the program, but I’m just curious.
For background, according to the program director, the pioneer journal is composed of “undergrad-level” essays written by international high schoolers that are ultimately selected by professors and those with PhDs in the respective fields.
Thanks!!
