Decisions should be coming out soon so I thought to make a thread! Good luck everyone
So, my daughter logged into Pitt Passport today, and looked under Admissions tab, She expanded the “Fall Term 2017-2018 Undergraduate” item and there was a line that said “Program Status”, which indicated “Admitted”. She hadn’t expanded this before (only saw “Completed”), so not sure if this really indicates that she’s Admitted, or if is a false positive? What is “Program Status”? She is cautiously optimistic…
Has she received a letter or email?@cruisecontrol
No, no other communication yet @OhioKid123
Just checked the portal here and still says “applicant.”
@cruisecontrol …I would take that as a very good sign!
Where are you able to drop down the “Fall term 2017-2018 undergraduate” tab? I can’t find it, when I log on, mine just says “this application is complete” when I check the application status page.
She logged in to: https://psmobile.pitt.edu/app/dashboard. “Admissions” was on the left nav, and the “Fall Term…” then showed across the top of the screen. I’m not sure where she got this url, but I assumed it was in a follow-up email. I think she had to activate the account. @almostdonewithhs
Mine, too, says “Accepted” for “Program Status.” Also, when I select “Accept/Decline Admissions” it gives me the option to Accept or Decline. Can anyone confirm what all of this means? Are we in?!
What were your guy’s stats?
Ok thabks, mine still says application is complete.
Mine says Admitted and gives me an option to accept or decline. I haven’t got any email or letter. I don’t want to get ahead of myself and assume anything.
I think that means you’re admitted. D got admitted to another school that did not send an email or letter. I think I prefer the old days of snail mail acceptance letters.
D just checked and it shows Program Status as Admitted!
Can you guys post stats?
@almostdonewithhs
ACT- 32
GPA- 4.383
Rank- 69/530ish
Let me add-
OOS
Applied to School of Nursing
I also don’t want to get ahead of myself either, but I think we are in if it says “Admitted.”
Stats:
OOS, 4.0 UW, 35 ACT, top 5% rank, rigorous coursework (10 AP’s), typical EC’s (NHS, volunteer hours, summer job, etc.). Applied to Arts and Sciences.
Good luck to all!
@ijustneedhelp ok my stats are very similar to yours. I hope that filling out the srar didn’t hurt my chances.
Any engineering applicants that have “admitted” in their portal?
@almostonewithhs Pitt prefers the SRAR. You’ll be fine.
@cruisecontrol @musiclover214 When did you apply?
