<p>How is Pittsburgh's Computer Science program? What is it's reputation like? How much collaboration with Carnegie Mellon is possible (CMU was my top choice but I got waitlisted)? I am in the Honors College, does that make a significant difference?</p>
<p>My DS and I visited Pitt for Honors Day last week and he sat down and met with a couple of people in the CS dept including the Dean. Everyone was great, answered all his questions, they gave him a tour of the facilities and he was happy with what he saw.</p>

<p>We asked the same about CMU, and the answer was you can take up to 18 credits at CMU but certain there are certain limitations like space must be available in the class etc.</p>
