I got accepted to both school's 2+4 pharmacy program.
in-state for pitt....but no scholarship
out-of-state for UConn....$11000 per year

which one would you guys choose, and why?
which one has a better reputation?

what were ur stats? (just curious cuz I applied to Uconn as well)

If UConn is cheaper I would go with that... I'd say reputation is about equal... maybe Pitt slightly better? I'm not a fan of the city though :D

Rutgers Pharmacy

11k from UConn is certainly worth considering. However, Pitt's reputation is quite good. If you're willing to sacrifice 11k, and/or you'd prefer to work in PA (or near PA), choose Pitt. If you feel a need for the 11k and/or would prefer to work in New England or New York, choose UConn.

does it about even out with the in-state tuition and the out-of-state tuition w. scholarship?

I'd say that both schools are on the same tier - at least to the extent that it won't make a difference which one you choose from a prestige standpoint.

Go for fit. If you want a more urban campus in the middle of a city, choose Pitt. If you want a more secluded campus 20 minutes outside of the city, choose UConn.

yeah it's only like $1000 difference between both schools with the scholarship. but I don't know how much difference it will add to it, from the financial aid part.
I just went to the library, and Pitt's campus is like 135 acre, and UConn is 4100 acre. omg!!! and UConn is so pretty, seems like everything is new new new, clean clean clean.

New new new and clean clean clean could very well make a difference in your undergrad experience. I'd go with UConn. Though do be wary - UConn is no slouch in the parties department.
