Would University of Pittsburgh Main accept transfer students from Temple University after 2 years? What GPA do you think would be a goal for one that would want to transfer? What other criteria is involved like this?

Yes they would. Aim for a 3.5 GPA or higher. It's really not that difficult to transfer into UPitt.

Is high school GPA / SAT scores taken into consideration?? How about transferring after 1 year?

After 1 year - yes, GPA and SATs.

After 2 years - not really.

How did you do in high school? As long as you didn't bomb and can do well in the first year at Temple, you should apply with confidence.

high school GPA around 3, SAT 1140

The acceptance rate for UPitt is 42% according to USNews. The minimum college GPA is 2.8. Your SATs are about average for admitted freshman applicants, so should hold up fine in the admissions process. I'd say aim for that 3.5 or so and you should be solid.
