pitt vs penn state...nursing and overall

i'm currently a rising senior living in pa and have basically narrowed my chooses down to pitt and penn state-university park and i am set on nursing. The other schools i am considering include towson, scranton, and drexel. i'm pretty sure i can get into all of these with my grades and sats. i have visited both pitt and penn state and liked the campus of penn state more. i felt that pitt's campus was too far spread out, however, i did like the city. i felt that penn state had less to do, but i love football and i loved the little town it has. i want a very social campus that has alot to do involving club intermural sports. also pitt is 5 hours from me and psu is only 3--i like being closer. i'm pretty sure that pitt's nursing program is alot better than psu considering all the hospitals in the oakland area, however i'm not positive. also im considering to go to graduate school after i get my bsn to become a nurse anesthetist. any comments that would help would be most appreciated. thanks

Pitt is way better in the liberal arts. If that matters to you at all. Pitt also has a med school that might be helpful.
