Pitt vs. Penn State

I got accepted to Pitt and Penn State as a Psych undergrad for the 2021 school year. I’m going to one or the other, but I do not know which to choose.

I really don’t want to be six hours away from home (Pitt), and Penn State is a very close match, if not identical, to Pitt in some aspects…but in others it is very different, such as campus and distance(3:30 hours).

Penn State Pros
•It is closer than Pitt, and I want to be closer to home
•very close friend goes to Penn State and it would make the transition from hgih school to college easier
•large student body, and huge alumni network
•I like the school pride that pen state has, because of the large student body and loyal alum, psu has more competitive sports teams, and i like to support my school and go to events
•being part of penn state instantly connects you to hundreds of thousands of people and may help with finding work in the future, I dont know if the same can be said for pitt, Im hoping someone can attest to this, and provide closure to this

Pitt Pros
•located in the city, access to many large corporations and research/internships are easy because center city is right around the corner
•I like the atmosphere at pitt when i visited, I enjoy the dynamic campus feel, its in the city, but still has its own vibe, and other colleges are closeby (I worry that at penn state it may get tiresome with no diversity from other colleges, because literally everyone at university park is there for penn state, so there’s no different perspectives and “outside” life, to get away from college life)

Both schools have great psych programs…
and I’m not sure which to go to,
my main concern, and pretty much only concern is the distance…not sure what to do about it.

I also know way more people at Penn State, which is a plus, because as of now, I know no one attending Pitt.

Can anyone help me out?
