I got into both Penn State and Pitt. I got into PSU as international politics major and Pitt as International and Area Studies even though thinking to change major political science.

I can find some "facts" from other places but I want to hear more real story from students go there and major in those and compare their classes.

Actually Pitt is a large school with a fairly large campus.

I can’t give specifics about the major, but academically, these schools are relatively equivalent. The major difference is Pitt is urban, PSU isn’t.

Academic differences are negligible. Pitt has great basketball, PSU has great football. Both have big alumni bases, and while PSU’s is larger in number, I don’t think Pitt’s is lacking enough to make your decision based on that alone.

The campuses are very different, so make your decision based on comfort level at each place.
