Just got an email from Pitzer, they will announce the decision on March 17 by 4 pm PST.
I’m not sure what to hope for- they just raised tuition etc to 83k a year. 
Ha! Yes, they almost make people hope they don’t get it at that price.

I think we find out tomorrow Friday 4pm. Can we hope for financial aid. If admitted, is that info included. Are they need blind. How’s their endowment.
Merit and financial aid should be listed in acceptance letter.

Rejected. 1570 SAT inadequate apparently.

Colleges used to multiply SAT and GPA for internal index.

Maybe large state schools used to do that, but I know my essays, ECs, and letters played a huge role in my college admissions decisions in the 1980s. Was the “woke” coming for you back then? Not sure how a well-rounded portfolio is “woke.” Colleges admit people, not numbers – the whole is greater than the parts.

D23 accepted, Trustee scholarship, 33ACT, 4.4 wGPA, very political ECs. Quite excited!

Son was waitlisted.
Son rejected. It was his first choice school.
But an hour later, accepted to UCLA.
