I heard that Pitzer doesn’t defer many candidates(during a panel they told us the number last year was about one or two students), so idk.
Maybe you all got accepted and they need your fasfa for more information??? Idk
@laliaM That’s really useful information! I’d rather be rejected and have some time to get over than live with false hope only to be rejected/waitlisted in the spring.
@sylvania123 The problem is that the FAFSA isn’t even avaliable yet and the email said that our financial information would be considered at the same time as the rest of our application.
@AnneKatherine Whatever it is, it will be settled in the coming days. Two, to be exact. I’m excited but nervous at the same time.
I sent them an email btw asking about this, I don’t know if it will actually be answered before decisions come out, but we’ll see.
My mom called the admissions office this morning about the financial aid email, and they told her it was a mistake!! So we’re all good
It’s so awesome that we’re all so connected to one another nowadays. But I feel like its a double edged sword because we freak out at the littlest thing. I guess we’ll find out in a couple of days (maybe today for cali residents). I wish everyone the best of luck!
Just got mine in the mail today. Deferred into regular decision.
@sylvania123 where do you live?
I live 15 minutes away from campus. @typicalfoodie

@typicalfoodie where are you from?

@sylvania123 Sorry you were deferred! I know how frustrating that can be, especially when you’ve already been waiting for so long. Good luck in the regular decision round!

It is quite OK! Pitzer is an awesome school so I don’t mind waiting a bit longer and getting another shot. Good luck to you! @AnneKatherine
