Place to check application status

<p>Does Rice have a place to check application status. So I can make sure that they have received everything and eventually, on Dec 15, see whether I am in or not? I looked on their website but saw nothing.</p>

<p>No -- you can call the Admissions Office and ask, though.</p>

<p>okay thanks. I think I will call next week though since I just mailed everything today. Will it be bad if I ask questions too? I don't want them to think I am schmoozing or something. I have already called twice.</p>

<p>the application instructions say they will email you when you can go to a website to check your application status. you might want to wait for that and not call just yet. :)</p>

give it two weeks before you call, you should receive the email within two weeks or so.

<p>Has anyone got their PIN yet? I submitted my stuff on 9/19 and haven't gotten anything...</p>

<p>it might be a week or two after the ED deadline. I am still going to call next week if nothing comes by then. Also, incase anyone wants to know, Rice reads your applications by region so sending it in first doesnt mean it is read first.</p>

<p>nope, I still have not gotten anything. I will probably call Monday or Tuesday though, or just wait for them to call me, I scheduled an overnight stay.</p>

<p>nothin here either, but rice downloaded my commonapp, supplement, and payment info. The payment info was just a few days ago so i'm expecting an email soon...</p>

<p>okay so I called them today and they said that they are still processing applications and cannot tell you anything but they should be sending an email out Friday notifying you it your application status and whether anything is missing or not. So if you dont get it Friday, try calling Monday or Tuesday to check.</p>

<p>okay so I definitely did call them and I swear that's what they told me. I'm sorry because I have not gotten it either. I'm going to call back Monday. Also, they might send it out a 5pm their time which is 15 minutes</p>

I'm sure that if there is anything missing, they'll let you turn it in on time since they have not notified us. Well good luck to all you guys. I'm so excited. I really think I will get in.
