Does everyone need to take a math placement exam? How does the ap exam credit works with this then?

No, you don’t have to take a math placement exam.

Might be easier than the swim placement exam for some though…

During the AP tests this year, I made Notre Dame the recipient of my scores. Considering that I did not make any college a recipient in previous years, Will Notre Dame receive scores from this year only or will they also receive scores from previous years?

The math placement test is just for those who didn’t take the AP Exam and want to be in a higher math class.

I am not sure about the test scores. I thought I had to resubmit my test scores from my junior year, but I would think it would be on the college board website. You could also talk with you advisor at ND to see which AP credit has been sent through.

i took ap calc bc exam, so I do not need to sign up for the placement exam

alovesa - if you got the grade you want, then you don’t need to…i think the way it works is if you think you didn’t do as well as you hoped, you can then take the placement exam as a second chance - if this is your situation, check with your advisor to make sure I am correct first.

well i believe that ap scores dont come out until mid-july, so i will wait and see what happens with that.
