<p>I am going to take ch 301 placement test during this week's orientation. If I pass it, could I register for the courses that requires ch 301 for prerequisites on the last day of orientation?</p>
<p>I haven't claimed credits that I earned from APs. Is it too late to claim the credit for the courses (prerequisites for other courses) after talking to advisor during the orientation?</p>

<p>No AP credit is truly "granted" until you actually start classes, but some departments let you register but will you drop you later if you don't fulfill the prereq (example - you can register for M 408L without credit for 408C or 408K). </p>
<p>Don't know about Chem, sorry. If you are blocked you can go to the Chem department and ask them to clear your bar so you can register but if you dont meet prereqs you will be dropped by the 4th class day.</p>
