Placement test disappeared?

<p>Hmm, i was going to take the writing test the other day and got to the integrity page when i realized i didnt have time to take it, so i didnt start taking the test. now i go back to the page and the test isnt there anymore! i sent fas staff and email asking what i should do, does anyone know if i can still take it?</p>

<p>and on a side note, i know the recommended placements from most tests is not binding, but regardless of what happens with my writing test (like if i dont get to take it) can i still take expos 20 and skip expos 10? (ive heard the placement test is and is not binding from different sources)</p>

<p>I think the writing test is binding for the Expos placement.</p>

<p>I am in the class of 2013 and for us, I know that the writing placement test was not binding. Even if you are placed into Expos 10, you can still take Expos 20 and vice-versa. Given that the tests are unproctored and you could technically have someone take the tests for you, Harvard uses them only for advising purposes so you know where you stand when you make course choices.</p>
