Placement test for French

Can someone who is from Scripps College or in Claremont consortium suggest a good way to prepare for French placement tests. I have had three years of Highschool French, but did not take it in my senior year, due to scheduling conflicts. I would hate to spend another 2 semesters on doing French in college. Scripps has 3 semesters of Language requirement which can be waived by taking either subject Language SAT or by placement tests. I won’t be able to take the Subject SAT in June. Hence trying to see what is the best way to prepare for French placement.

On a related note, how hard are the French level 1, 2, 3 in Scripps?

I don’t think there are a lot of current Scripps students on this forum. I believe Scripps has a page with the contact info of some current students who are there to answer questions. Problem is, they already went on summer break so you may not get a response until late August.
