English = 90$ OR 65$ ???
Math = 20$

Does anyone know what it really is? I read it was 90$ on the little ticket I got, but the UCR Placement test website says it costs 65$...

Are these paid upfront or are they billed on the quarterly bill?

where did you see $65?
i got the placement test letter for english too. and it says $90.
I say just trust the letter just because its more reliable than the website…

Are any of you two in AP Classes?

is the english(writing) and math placement test on the same day? did anyone receive a letter for the math placement because i only received the english one??

@Jaz, I’m in AP English right now.

[Placement and Advisory Examinations](http://placementtest.ucr.edu/) tells me that it’s 65$ for English.

umm are you sure that website is updated?

“There is a $65 fee for the Analytical Writing Placement Examination (AWPE). For the May 9 exam, students receive a fee card by e-mail or in the mail.”

may 9th of 2010 is a sunday and the letter i received said the test’s on may 8th…
so… yeah.

well im sendin in my ap score in july after i get my result back from the may ap english and composition exam so i can become exempt from it! :)

I took the AP English Literature exam, but didn’t know if I would pass it at the time. So I took the English test the UC had offered, just in case, and apparently I passed it and also got my results back from the AP Literature exam and passed that as well. So I didn’t have to take English 3, 4, 5, and English 001A. I passed English 001B last quarter and now finishing English 001C.

In my opinion, I would take the exam, just in case. (you don’t have to take my word for it, though)

@Jw0406: Usually they are not the same day, or at least that’s what happened to me. I went to the English one first, and had registered for the MAE on a later date.

@forensicanthro: The English exam should be 65 dollars, unless they changed it due to budget cuts…
