Placement Testing

<p>So I’m Asian but i took four years of Spanish, and just recently took the Spanish AP test (Hoping I passed). Can I waive language if I pass the AP test?</p>

<p>Since you already have 4 years of Spanish, language is waived for you. The only people who <em>need</em> to take more language classes are those who have only taken 2 years of high school level language.</p>

<p>^ Oh really? Since I have to take the tests the day of orientation I think they said I have to take both the math and foreign language placement tests. But I have six years worth of a foreign language from high school, so maybe I can get out of it?</p>

<p>And can you tell me what the difficulty of the math tests are? Is it pretty basic or is it kind of like the math section on the SATs?</p>

<p>aspire: Yeah, just take the math test, unless you’re trying to place into a higher level class to take later.</p>
