Hey guys for all u ppl that have taken either the chemistry, calculus, or physics 2 placement test, how hard were the tests and do u think there needs to be prior studying for these tests?

any help is appreciated thanks

i didn't study at all for the calc one, and i placed borderline 1b/2a so i could pick. it'd been over a year since taking precal. i guess it depends on how good you are in math (me, not very, but it was more algebra stuff than trig etc) and how much you already remember

I took both Calculus and Chemistly, and they are both very basic. You really don't need to study unless you have forgotten some stuff. I didn't remember much of chemistry because I took it 2 years ago, but calculus was veryy easy. Here's what was on it:
Exponents and Radicals 75%
Rational Expressions 80%
Linear Equations and Inequalities 70%
Functions 60%
Polynomials and Polynomial Functions 75%
Logarithms and Exponential Functions 75%
Trigonometry 60%
Geometric Applications 66%

good luck!

thanks guys, yea i had AP calc this year and Im pretty good at math so im not worried about that but chemistry mite be a little worse lol i took chem in tenth grade. does anyone know how the physics 2 placement test is?

for chem u just need BASIC chemistry knowledge and just some math here and there. it was REALLY easy, i didnt study that much and got an 85%. dont sweat it

Yeah, for Chem just know like the ultra basic.

chem was very easy as long as you've taken the course before

i took both chem and calc and passed both. i studied a little for chem and got 80%. The last time I took chem was sophomore year adn didnt remember hardly anything. The test is more math than actual chemistry knowledge. I didn't study for calc but i took both calc and statistics in high school. It was mostly algebra and trig.
