Placement Tests Quick Question!

Sorry if this has been posted before but I have a quick question. Ok I am a transfer student and I had just taken chemistry I in my old university. On the USC transfer guide it said that the credits will transfer. However when I took he chem placement test I got placed into 105a and 050. Does this mean I am forced to retake chem I or can I go ahead and take Chem II

Thanks!

If the Chemistry I class is deemed equivalent to 105a then you can probably just take 105b. The placement test unrelated to your credits transferring and is used to see who should register for 050 as a supplement in order to further “help” students in the 105 sequence who may be “at risk”.
