Does anyone know how they might work for languages?
Also, is there any possibility to place out of Calc I without an AP 5?

I know about AP credits, I mean separate placement tests from Princeton. Not APs.

Getting a 4 on the AB test will get you out of Calc I. Getting a 4 on the BC test will get you out of Calc I & II. The only thing you need a 5 on the BC for is to get put directly into Math 211, 214, or 215. And like if you didn’t get a 5 on BC, chances are you don’t wanna be in 211, 214, and 215 as a first-semester freshman.

I think that the OP is asking whether there are placement tests that one can take at Princeton given that one does not have AP credit for the particular course.

It looks like you can take the language placement tests online from July 15th to August 15th. Here is the info for the spanish test; I think the other language placement tests work the same way.

Thanks Frostyeel…that was the type of thing I was looking for. I didn’t know that it would only be linked to by departments.
