i plan on buying quite a few AP books in the future...and ive seen prices a lot better than the local b&n/borders. Where do you guys get your AP books? do you get them online, if so can you call them direct?

I would buy them used, as cheap as you can get them. Find out from CC which books the kids feel are useful ones, which ones they all agree are worthless–and try to find them through really cheap used book sites (betterworld.com is one of my favorites) or from upperclassmen who are getting rid of theirs.

Amazon, definitely.

half.com

Compare prices and selection there and amazon. Best bets…

half price books too. Or I suppose if you get stuck buying a new one, sell it to half price books; there are always a lot of AP books in there.

Borrowed from the next door neighbor :D

buy them used. You don’t need the latest editions - there are hardly any changes from year to year, but the price difference can be 10 fold.

If you know older students at your HS, or in the neighborhood, you can probably get them for free from them.
