<p>So according to Wikipedia, there aren't any Chipotles in Tennessee and I was wondering if the following places to eat were located near (2-3 miles) campus...
Jersey Mike's
Jason's Deli
Whataburger
Panda Express
Taco Cabana</p>
<p>Jersey Mike’s and Jason’s Deli are within walking distance.</p>
<p>Is there a Chick-Fil-A within walking distance?</p>
<p>I wish there was a Chik-fil-a in walking distance…</p>
<p>As far as places similar to what you mention, there’s a place called Cheeseburger Charlie’s which is pretty good. Fast food wise there’s two Wendy’s, a McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Jack in the Box, and probably several others although they are a little bit of a trek from the Commons. There’s also Subway and of course the Quizno’s on campus. You really shouldn’t have to worry about your dining options. Oh and there’s a Qdoba which is quite similar to Chipotle.</p>
<p>No ChickFila in the metro Nashville area, the closest one is in Brentwood which would require a care. No Whataburger or Taco Cabana.
The entire Vanderbilt campus is encircled by tons of restuarants and fast food places so you will not have trouble finding some great places to eat.
Closest places to eat near the Commons: These are all on 21st avenue or on a side street off 21st in the Hillsboro Village: SATCO-San Antonio Taco Company, Panera Bread, Starbucks, Mellow Mushroom, Noshville Deli, Ben and Jerry’s, Brueggers Bagels, Roly Poly, Sportsmans Grille, Pancake Pantry, Fido, Boscos-microbrewery, Jackson’s, Provence bakery,Smoothie King, Sunset Grill, Cabana-more of a bar,not a Mexican food place at all, a new great sushi place-can’t remember the name, sorry.
West End Avenue borders the other side of campus and is the main street heading downtown. It is impossible to name everything, but the closest eateries on that side are: PF Changs,Bread and Company, Flemings Steakhouse, Wendy’s, J Alexanders, Starbucks, Chilis, Jason’s Deli, TGIFridays, Qdoba. All of these either border the campus or are just across the street from campus.
The Green Hills Mall and the Hill Center can be reached by a short bus ride or taxi and have a Cheesecake Factory, Cheeseburger Charlies, Ruby Tuesday, Bronte Bistro (in the Davis Kidd bookstore) a Pei Wei, Zoe’s Kitchen, 5 Guys burgers and a Whole Foods market.
If you want places to have your parents or family take you to when they visit, go to [Nashville</a> Originals - Independent, locally-owned restaurants](<a href=“http://www.nashvilleoriginals.com%5DNashville”>http://www.nashvilleoriginals.com) for some local restaurants with good atmosphere. I would also add to this list the Park Cafe, Neros Grill, Firefly and FScotts. The most expensive of these is FScotts by far which is only open for dinner</p>
<p>ooo there’s a Panera.</p>
<p>I am in so much trouble. :)</p>
<p>We have free Chik-fil-a at a lot of campus events, so you won’t be totally deprived!</p>
<p>Bread and Company is nearby (and on the card) - it’s wonderful!</p>
<p>^^^ yes, I love Bread and company, also I have heard there is going to be a chipotle by next year, but we shall see.</p>
<p>during the first week of freshman year there was sooo much free chik fila at every event!!</p>
