Places to run around NYU

I'm going to be spending six weeks in Weinstein this summer and I was wondering if there were any good areas to run in that area.

Run up and down the Hudson River Park:

[Hudson River Park - Explore!](http://www.hudsonriverpark.org/explore.html)

It’s awesome. But you better have a body because everyone that runs it is gorgeous.

Everyone running the Hudson is gorgeous … that’s kinda true actually. I’d say try Riverside Park (that’s up in the 100s though), across the Brooklyn Bridge, or Central Park. It’s iconic. The only annoying thing I’ve found running in the city is that it sucks to subway somewhere (because then you’re stuck with your wallet, or at least the metrocard, while you run), but if you don’t and just run to where you want to be, you’re running through the streets and have to deal with lights, which makes running less of a fluid workout when you’re forced to wait.

Hudson River Park along the west side is awesome. Great river views, open roadways for bikers/runners, water fountain/restroom stops along the way, sections have been remodeled and areas especially near Chelsea Piers and just north of Battery Park have really amazing landscape architecture.
